Ohio State attempting to flip Florida commit, offers running back a scholarship
Ohio State has had plenty of success recruiting the state of Florida and Thursday morning brought news it is trying to flip a Gator commitment.
Class of 2024 running back Chauncey Bowens, who has been a Florida pledge since September, tweeted that he has received an offer from the Buckeyes.
Bowens stands 5 feet, 11 inches and weighs 220 pounds. He is a four-star on the 247Sports composite. He is the 23rd overall running back and the 292nd player nationally.
Even though it may seem like his ranking is low, his offer list is impressive, as Bowens holds them from Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State.
Extremely blessed and honored to receive an offer from THE Ohio State University ! 🌰 @EricKresser @CoachTonyAlford @Andrew_Ivins @SWiltfong247 @adamgorney @RWrightRivals pic.twitter.com/rngHIYwWXC

Bowen is also a track star, and we will see how far this offer goes in the Buckeyes’ attempt to flip his commitment to Florida.
