Notre Dame beats Ohio State soundly

Notre Dame came within inches of knocking off Ohio State in late-September when the Buckeyes scored with just one second remaining to snatch a victory away from the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame hasn’t beat Ohio State in football since a 7-2 victory over the Buckeyes way back in 1937. The Buckeyes have won each of the six meetings since.

At least in football, anyway.

Friday night saw the Notre Dame hockey team play host to Big Ten rival, 19th ranked Ohio State. Things couldn’t have gone better for the Irish this time as they beat the Buckeyes 4-0.
