Tuesday's results

CHATHAM GLENWOOD 51, LANPHIER 23: At Chatham, Glenwood went into intermission with a 27-10 advantage it led to a Central State Eight Conference victory.

Eleven players scored for Glenwood, which got a game-high 12 points from freshman guard Alexis Neumann. She had 10 points at halftime as the Titans upped their record to 22-6 overall and 9-1 in the CS8.

Aubrey Beavers scored a team-high 11 points for Lanphier (5-19, 1-9).

LINCOLN 61, NORMAL UNIVERSITY 17: At Normal, Lincoln raced to a 36-7 halftime lead to conclude the regular season undefeated at 31-0 overall and 10-0 in the Central State Eight Conference.

The reserves too the floor midway through the fourth quarter with a 57-17 cushion.

The Railsplitters previously went unbeaten last season before dropping to LaGrange Park Nazareth 63-52 in the Class 3A state championship game to go 36-1.

HAVANA 43, BRIMFIELD 41: At Havana, the Ducks outscored the visitors 10-6 in the final period and eked out a Prairieland Conference win.

Havana (19-10 overall, 6-1 in the Prairieland) made 6 of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter. Senior Jaylynn Sarnes totaled 12 points and Josie Hughes and Kaydi Miller added 10 apiece in the win.

Ava Simpson led Brimfield (19-11, 7-2) with 10 points.

Monday's results

NOKOMIS 51, SOUTH COUNTY 40: At Waverly, Camryn Engelman and Natalie Brownback combined for five 3-pointers to capture the outright MSM Conference title for Nokomis.

Engelman hit three 3s and finished with 12 points. Brownback led NHS with 14 points. Grace DeWerff chipped in nine points for Nokomis (20-10, 7-0 MSM).

Jacee Alexander led the Vipers with 13 points.

PLEASANT PLAINS 70, RIVERTON 16: At Plains, Bailey Leach, Adi Fraase and Grace Sebatka each dialed up four 3-pointers in the Sangamo Conference win.

Leach paced the Cardinals (22-6, 7-0) with 19 points, while Sebatka and Fraase had 16 and 13 points, respectively. Jillian Cameron poured in 11 points while Anna Weber added eight.

Katelyn Truesdale led the Hawks with six points.

PETERSBURG PORTA/A-C CENTRAL 48, ATHENS 11: At Athens, five different players reached at least eight points in the Sangamo Conference win for PORTA.

Karlie Hoke tallied 13 points while Cassie Cox and Aubrey Vogel had 10 and nine points, respectively. Jayce Privia and Carson Arthalony had eight points apiece.

PORTA, ranked No. 5 in Class 2A, moves to 27-1 overall and 7-0 in the Sangamo and hosts defending league champion Plains on Wednesday to determine the conference champion.

NORMAL WEST 41, SACRED HEART-GRIFFIN 38: At Normal West, Meredith Bertsche (11 points) and Olivia Patton (10 points) combined for 21 points in the nonconference win for the Wildcats.

Normal West led 29-28 after three quarters. Callie Huston and Maggie Fleischli each had 11 points for SHG (19-11).

STAUNTON 46, CARLINVILLE 44: At Staunton, Ele Feldmann had a game-high 17 points for the home team to retain the outright lead in the South Central Conference.

Feldmann produced seven points in the third quarter for a 35-33 advantage.

Samantha Anderson (nine points) knocked down two of her three 3s in the fourth quarter to help cement the win. Lilly Bandy added eight points for Staunton (23-5, 6-1).

Jordyn Loveless and Isabella Tiburzi had 13 points apiece for Carlinville (22-7, 6-2).

GILLESPIE 54, NORTH MAC 45: At Virden, five different players recorded at least six points in the South Central Conference win for the Miners.

Amari Vickery led Gillespie (23-7, 6-2) with 12 points. Lauren Bertagnolli and Becca Crays had nine points apiece. Erika Gill added eight.

Abby Hendricks led North Mac (17-12, 4-4) with 14 points. Taylor Kiers had 13.
