No. 3 Allegany bounces back with 35-0 shutout of Albert Gallatin

Sep. 22—UNIONTOWN, Pa. — No. 3 Allegany pitched a shutout and Brody Williams ran for a touchdown and passed for another, as the Campers routed Albert Gallatin, 35-0, on Friday night.

Allegany (2-2) led 7-0 after the first quarter, 14-0 at the half and 28-0 entering the fourth period.

The Campers struck first when Williams connected with Zach Michael for a 12-yard touchdown pass with 3:48 to go in the third period.

Williams made it a two-touchdown Alco edge at the break with a two-yard scoring run late in the half.

Allegany doubled its advantage in the third quarter when Isaiah Fields found the end zone on a 39-yard run (5:53 left in the third) and Brett Patterson followed suit from two yards out (18.5 seconds left).

Jackson Resh put an exclamation point on the victory with a 15-yard interception return for a touchdown with 2:02 to go in final quarter.

Allegany will look to get back over .500 when it hosts St. James next Friday at 7 p.m.
