Nick Saban updates on Agiye Hall’s status with Alabama
On Tuesday, news surfaced that Alabama wide receiver Agiye Hall had been removed from Alabama’s official online roster. From Tuesday until late Wednesday evening, most everyone was unsure of Hall’s current status with the Crimson Tide.
After Alabama completed its practice on Wednesday, head coach Nick Saban spoke to the media and almost immediately addressed the situation surrounding Hall. According to Saban, Hall is currently suspended from the team for a violation of team rules.
Here is what Saban had to say about Hall.
“He is suspended from the team for violations of some team rules, whether they’re academic or whatever. It doesn’t really matter. Everybody has a responsibility and obligation to respect the principles and values and do what they need to do. They’re all there to help them be more successful, so to respect those and do those are always really helpful.”
When asked if there was an opportunity for Hall to return to the good graces of the coaching staff, Saban had this to say.
“Well, he already had that opportunity once, so I don’t know what his plans are for the future.”
While the drama surrounding Hall may not be officially over, it looks like his opportunities in Tuscaloosa are nearing an end.
