Nick Saban says the team has boosted confidence level leading up to SEC Championship

Alabama head coach Nick Saban spoke with media yesterday, as we are now entering the 2021 college football postseason. Alabama will take on Georgia in Atlanta for the SEC Championship, with a playoff spot.

The Bulldogs will enter the contest as the top-ranked team in the nation, while the Crimson Tide fell from the top earlier in the season and now sits at No. 3, according to the College Football Playoff committee.

Georgia is expected to win, as the defense, headlined by Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis, have been far too overpowering for opposing offenses to handle. Alabama’s inconsistently high-powered offense must perform as a cohesive unit and find holes in the defense to expose.

Last Saturday, this Crimson Tide team won a nail-biter in fourth overtime on the road in Auburn for the 2021 Iron Bowl. During his media availability, Saban mentioned how the team’s confidence level has been boosted from the win, and the team has “practiced well this week.”

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow the Crimson Tide as the team looks to take down the Bulldogs in the 2021 SEC Championship and earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.
