NHL player’s back injury leads to career-ending diagnosis

Former New York Rangers captain and Tampa Bay Lighting forward Ryan Callahan was recently diagnosed with a longterm spine injury which could possibly be career-ending. The right winger will likely have to hang up his skates for good after 15 seasons in the league and admitted in an interview with the team’s official website he’s been struggling with “back issues for a couple of years now.”
