NFL power rankings Week 15: Dallas Cowboys make statement with rout of Philadelphia Eagles
How 'bout them Cowboys?!
With a 33-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL Week 14 on Sunday, Dallas moved to 10-3 on the season, equaling the Eagles and San Francisco 49ers for the best record in the NFC.
The Cowboys have won five straight games and would be the No. 2 seed in the NFC Playoffs were the postseason to begin today.
Dallas is the NFC's lone unbeaten team at home this season (7-0). They have scored more points than any other team in the conference (421) and have allowed the second fewest (233).
Can the Cowboys continue their hot play?
Dallas has some tough games over the next three weeks (at Buffalo Bills, at Miami Dolphins, vs. Detroit Lions) but this is a team that could have a big say in the NFC title race.
The Cowboys certainly looks like a serious contender right now.

Beat Packers, 24-22, to improve to 5-8. The Giants have won three in a row, the latest on a field goal as time expired.
24. New York Jets (28)
Beat Texans, 30-6, to improve to 5-8. The Jets ditched their ultra-conservative play-calling and look what happened. Why did it take so long?
23. Chicago Bears (26)
Beat Lions, 28-13, to improve to 5-8. Should the Bears stick with Justin Fields at QB?
22. Atlanta Falcons (18)
Lost to Buccaneers, 29-25, to fall to 6-7. This team is still tied for first in the NFC South.
21. Los Angeles Rams (19)
Lost to Ravens in overtime, 37-31, to fall to 6-7. Lops Angeles saw a 3-game win streak snapped in overtime. We're not ready to count them out yet with the Commanders, Saints and Giants up next.

Lost to 49ers, 28-16, to fall to 6-7. We think this team is much better than its record, despite four straight losses, but it could be five straight losses with the Eagles up next.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (24)
Beat Falcons, 29-25, to improve to 6-7. Two straight victories has moved this team into a 3-way tie for first in the NFC South.
18. New Orleans Saints (21)
Beat Panthers, 28-6, to improve to 6-7. It's been an up-and-down season for New Orleans, but the Saints are tied with the Buccaneers and Falcons for first in the NFC South.
17. Green Bay Packers (13)
Lost to Giants, 24-22, to fall to 6-7. Green Bay missed a pivotal chance to help their NFL playoff chances in the loss to the Giants.
16. Pittsburgh Steelers (11)
Lost to Patriots, 21-18, to fall to 7-6. An anemic offense has held this team back all season. It's crazy how important the quarterback position is.
15. Indianapolis Colts (10)
Lost to Bengals, 34-14, to fall to 7-6. This team's road vs. home record still amazes us. The Colts are 5-2 on the road and 2-4 at home.

14. Houston Texans (9)
Lost to Jets, 30-6, to fall to 7-6. We're willing to give the Texans a mulligan for that performance vs. the Jets, but it was not pretty.
13. Minnesota Vikings (16)
Beat Raiders, 3-0, to improve to 7-6. A win is a win in the NFL, but Minnesota has to be able to score more than three points.
12. Buffalo Bills (17)
Beat Chiefs, 20-17, to improve to 7-6. Can the Bills make the playoffs? It won't be easy with the Cowboys and Dolphins among their remaining four opponents.
11. Cincinnati Bengals (20)
Beat Colts, 34-14, to improve to 7-6. Did anyone see this coming from Jake Browning? He gives the Bengals a shot, which is all Cincinnati fans can hope for after Joe Burrow's injury.
10. Denver Broncos (15)
Beat Chargers, 24-7, to improve to 7-6. We admit it. We had written off the Broncos. Then they went and won six out of seven games.
9. Jacksonville Jaguars (8)
Lost to Browns, 31-27, to fall to 8-5. Trevor Lawrence had three touchdown passes against the Browns, and three passes intercepted.

8. Cleveland Browns (12)
Beat Jaguars, 31-27, to improve to 8-5. The Joe Flacco signing is looking awfully good right now. How did he stay on the street so long?
7. Kansas City Chiefs (7)
Lost to Bills, 20-17, to fall to 8-5. The Chiefs are trying to make the officials an excuse for their play the last couple of weeks. Not a good sign.
6. Detroit Lions (6)
Lost to Bears, 28-13, to fall to 9-4. Jared Goff only threw for 161 yards in the loss, with one touchdown and two passes intercepted. That won't cut it.
5. Miami Dolphins (3)
Lost to Titans, 28-27, to fall to 9-4. The Dolphins had a 27-13 lead with 4:34 left in the game against the Titans. And they lost.
4. Philadelphia Eagles (2)
Lost to Cowboys, 33-13, to fall to 10-3. Jalen Hurts has one touchdown pass over the past two weeks - both losses for the Eagles.
3. Baltimore Ravens (4)
Beat Rams, 37-31, to improve to 10-3. This team has allowed 218 points this season, the least in the AFC.
2. Dallas Cowboys (5)
Beat Eagles, 33-13, to improve to 10-3. This team appears unbeatable at home (7-0). What if the Cowboys get home-field advantage In the NFC playoffs?
1. San Francisco 49ers (1)
Beat Seahawks, 28-16, to improve to 10-3. Brock Purdy would have to be one of the most unlikely NFL MVP's ever (along with Tom Brady), right?
