NFL: Five teams poised to crash 2017 playoffs after missing in 2016
No matter what the year, we’re almost guaranteed to see a new set of teams in the NFL playoffs. Six franchises made the field last winter who had missed out the year before. There were four new faces in the 2015 playoffs and five in the 2014 edition.

So who’s set to crash the party in the 2017 season? Shutdown Corner’s Frank Schwab looks at five team who are most likely to make the playoffs after sitting at home last season. As you’ll notice, it’s a mixture of up-and-coming teams and squads who were hurt by injury in 2016 and might regain their footing.
