NFL announces 2021 preseason schedule

One indication that the nation — and the NFL — is returning to some sense of normalcy is that there will be a preseason in 2021. The 2020 preseason was cancelled due to COVID, and the 2021 preseason will be different in that there are just three games — part of the agreement between the league and the NFLPA when the decision was made to expand the regular season to 17 games.

So, that’s one less week for the guys on the bottom of the depth charts to prove themselves before the regular season starts, which should add a new sense of urgency to the proceedings.

From the Hall of Fame game to the end of Week 3, here’s the complete schedule for the 2021 preseason.
