You will yell like a shot-put hurler after watching this video

Medal count | Olympic schedule | Olympic news

The men’s Olympic shot put weighs 7.26 kilograms, or about 16 pounds, or about the weight of two gallons of milk, so, yeah, it takes a bit of effort to hurl one. So you’ll love watching this NBC compilation of these Olympic shot put competitors screaming the shot on its way. And if you want to let out a yell like this when you get your latte, find the perfect parking place or change your kid’s diaper, hey, we highly encourage it.

Ryan Crouser and Joe Kovacs of the United States went 1-2 in the shot put Thursday night. Crouser set an Olympic record with a throw of 22.52 meters, while Kovacs tossed the shot 21.78 meters. That’s enough to make you want to holler.
