Vikings' Peterson rips fans, officials

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson missed most of Sunday's 29-26 loss to the Baltimore Ravens because of an injury, but that did not prevent him from ripping officials and the Ravens fans.

Peterson vented his displeasure on Twitter, writing, "Wow talking about bad officiating & the worst fan base I've ever experience! They threw snow balls the entire 4q like lil kids. Smh"

Later, Peterson said via KFAN, "It's frustrating for us. We come in and we fight so hard, to have to beat a team and the officials, it doesn't make any sense. ... And then to top it off you have the fans who are acting like kids and just throwing snowballs the end of the third quarter and the entire fourth quarter. It's like, it was ridiculous. It doesn't make sense."

Peterson was critical of a pass interference call on Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway and what was ruled a fumble by Vikings running back Toby Gerhart.
