UFC on Fuel TV 5’s Amir Sadollah Loves that Dan Hardy is Going to Bring It

At UFC on Fuel TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic, Amir Sadollah looks forward to taking out one of the biggest names in the UFC with Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy in the Brit's own backyard.

Last we saw the 27-year-old, he won a somewhat debatable split decision over Jorge Lopez, who was released from the UFC earlier this year. But with a bigger opportunity and a fight in the co-main event, Sadollah aims to bring his best.

One thing is for sure, with how Hardy loves to throw down, Sadollah gets a chance to attack more and give the fans of Nottingham, England a show.

“I enjoy going against fighters that are aggressive,” said Sadollah at the UFC on Fuel TV 5 open workouts earlier this week. “The more passive fighters aren't as fun to fight. Dan Hardy is a counter-puncher, but he’s aggressive with it. I will be able to draw him in.”

Even though Sadollah hasn’t looked spectacular in his last two outings, he still believes that the pressure is off. The Team Throwdown member insists that all the pressure is on Hardy to perform in his home country.

“All the pressure is on him to make this a great fight for his own fans here. He’s under a lot of pressure, not me.”

Hardy does feel the pressure of his home crowd expecting a knockout, but it pales in comparison to his fight against Duane Ludwig. Instead of having to worry about his job, The Brit can have fun in the Octagon once again when he faces Sadollah.

“There is pressure on me to win and score a knockout because I’ll have hundreds of people in the arena on Saturday night that I’ve known for years,” Hardy said.

“But nothing, nothing will compare pressure-wise to my last fight against Duane Ludwig where my UFC career was on the line. Now I am just taking it one fight at a time and am back to enjoying fighting rather than worry about this being my job.”

Be that as it may, the pressure is still weighs heavier on the back of Hardy, and Sadollah is looking forward to just stepping in and throwing down.
