Sharks land free-agent Burish

Free-agent forward Adam Burish agreed to terms with the San Jose Sharks on a four-year contract valued at a reported $1.8 million per season.

Burish spent the past two seasons with the Dallas Stars. This past season was his best statistically with six goals and 19 points in 65 games.

Burish, who was a member of the Chicago Blackhawks' Stanley Cup-winning team in 2010, likes to mix it up. During his career, he averages more than a penalty minute per game and spent 214 minutes in the box in the 81 games of the 2007-08 season.

The University of Wisconsin product was a ninth-round draft pick in 2002.
