Repport: Braun to begin swinging bat Tuesday

Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun has been on the disabled list for two weeks with a right hand injury, but he is is scheduled to begin swinging the bat again Tuesday, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.

Braun had not performed any baseball activities while giving the injury time to heal.

Braun was batting .304 with nine home runs before being placed on the disabled list June 9.

His name has also been mentioned in connection with the Biogenesis case.
