UFC welterweight Abdul Razak Alhassan was indicted Monday on a sexual assault charge. Alhassan is accused of raping two women in one night in March while working as a bouncer, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Alhassan was working as a bouncer at Varsity Tavern in Fort Worth the night of the alleged assaults. According to the arrest warrant, Alhassan let the two women — a 22-year-old and a 20-year-old — into the club.

Alhassan agreed to let both women into the club, despite the fact that one was 20, in exchange for the 22-year-old’s phone number. The 20-year-old reportedly found her friend and Alhassar making out in a utility closet at the club later that evening.

At the end of the night, Alhassan drove the women to the 20-year-old’s house. That’s when Alhassan allegedly raped both women, according to the affidavit.

“She said the defendant laid (the first woman) on the bed and she believed the defendant had left the residence,” the affidavit states. “She said she went into the kitchen to get a drink and when she returned the defendant was standing in the corner of her bedroom.”

The 20-year-old said Alhassan then grabbed her from behind, shoved her face first into the bed, “holding her down and removing the spandex shorts she had on under her dress,” the affidavit states.

She said he then raped her, according to the affidavit.

The 20-year-old told police that afterward, Alhassan moved over to her friend, removed the woman’s panties and raped her.

The Star-Telegram spoke to the general manager of the Varsity Tavern, Jesse Fonseca, who confirmed Alhassan worked there, but quit because “he had some personal stuff to go through,” according to Fonseca.

Alhassan’s attorney declined to comment, according to the Star-Telegram.

The two women went to the club the night of March 23. They reported the alleged assaults March 24 and March 25. Alhassan was arrested in April, but was able to post his $20,000 bond. Part of Alhassan’s bond condition included a GPS monitor preventing him from leaving Tarrant County without court approval. A judge allowed Alhassan to remove that GPS monitor so he could continue participating in UFC.

The 33-year-old Alhassan appeared at a UFC event as recently as September, knocking out Niko Price at UFC 228.
