Patriots list Danny Amendola with a concussion on injury report

The New England Patriots, forced to by the nature of the injury report, finally revealed that receiver Danny Amendola sustained a concussion in Sunday's 30-27 win over New Orleans.

Previously, the Patriots weren't calling Amendola's injury a concussion. Now that it's known, Amendola will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist before Sunday's game if he's going to be able to play.

Amendola has only played in two games this season. He played in the season-opener against Buffalo but sustained a groin injury. That kept him out until this past Sunday.

Now, Amendola's game status might be in jeopardy for this week.

The Patriots brought Amendola in to fill the void left by Wes Welker. So far, the injury-prone tag attached to Amendola has applied.
