The Hoop Group ran the Providence Jam Fest May 13-14 in Providence Rhode Island.

There were 64 teams in action
New Jersey teams were: Bulls Basketball, The Firm Silver, ShoreShots, Panthers, Sina Basketball Academy, Team Speed, Central Jersey Jammers, The Firm, Crusaders, We R 1 Bulldogs, South Jersey Elite and Thunder
In the second round: The Firm Silver lost to mass rivals 62-50. The ShoreShots stopped Rhode Island Elite 67-39. Sina Basketball lost to York Ballers 61-44. Team Speed shut down Salvation Army 57-36. The Firm topped the Crusaders 67-39. SJ Hoops Elite stopped Stanford Peace 75-62
In the Sweet 16: The ShoreShots lost to Mass Rivals 59-48. Team Speed fell to Mass Rivals Select 63-46, The Firm trimmed the Early Risers 46-45. South Jersey Hoops Elite lost to the DC blue Devils 61-56.
In the quarterfinals: The Firm shut down Mass Rivals Select 43-33.
In the semis: The Firm trimmed the York Ballers 38-35
The Firm and New England Playaz were named co-champs
16U ORANGE DIVISION

In first round games: The Hilltopper Heat lost to the Early Risers. We R 1 Bulldogs beat Almighty Force 54-38, ShoreShots Kessler topped Connecticut PhD 66-59, The Firm thwarted Connecticut Passion 59-41, The New England Playaz beat the Bulls 78-29. The Beasts lost to Middlesex Magic 77-59, The Playaz beat team Albany 73 -19. The Crusaders lost to the DC Blue Devils 59 -39.
in the second round: We R 1 Bulldogs lost to Middlesex magic 86 -41. The ShoreShots Kessler topped the Rhode Island Breaker 61 -48. The Firm topped New York City elite 71 -51. The Playaz beat the DC blue Devil 68 -37
