Nov 20 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Basketball Association games - - - Pacers 103, Knicks 96 (overtime) The Indiana Pacers became the first team in the Eastern Conference to record 10 wins this season by edging out the New York Knicks in overtime. Forward Paul George led the Pacers (10-1) with 35 points, including nine in the extra session, after he had nailed three free throws at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. Carmelo Anthony, who has topped the Knicks (3-8) in scoring in all 11 games this season, deposited 30 points and hauled in 18 rebounds but the Knicks lost their fifth straight at home. - - - Clippers 102, Timberwolves 98 Chris Paul scored 16 points in the fourth quarter in a record-breaking performance that helped the Los Angeles Clippers beat Minnesota for the second time in nine days. Rookie guard Trey Burke, who had missed Utah's first 12 games of the season with a broken finger, made his NBA debut, scoring 11 points in just 12 minutes. However, Utah (1-12) could not overcome a 1-for-17 shooting night by shooting guard Gordon Hayward. - - - Bobcats 95, Nets 91 Guard Kemba Walker broke out of a recent slump with a season-high 31 points, and the Charlotte Bobcats earned a victory over the injury-plagued Brooklyn Nets. Scott sparked a 22-11 run in the final period and enabled the Hawks (7-5) to cruise to their seventh win. The loss ruined the homecoming for Atlanta native Josh Smith, who played nine seasons for the Hawks before signing as a free agent with the Pistons. The forward had 11 points and six rebounds against his former team. - - - Kings 113, Suns 106 Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins collected his second double-double in as many nights with 19 points and 12 rebounds, and the Kings completed a back-to-back sweep of the Phoenix Suns. Houston's James Harden missed a potential game-tying free throw with nine seconds left as well as a three-pointer attempt on the final possession. Dwight Howard posted a season-high 37 points on 13-of-18 shooting in the loss. - - - Grizzlies 88, Warriors 81 (overtime) Mike Conley sank a 3-pointer to break a tie with 1:36 remaining in overtime as the Memphis Grizzlies outlasted the Golden State Warriors. Big men Zach Randolph (21 points, 12 rebounds) and Marc Gasol (18 points, 11 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles for the Grizzlies while Klay Thompson led the Warriors (8-4) with 21 points. Both teams played without starting guards as Golden State's Stephen Curry was out with a concussion and Memphis' Tony Allen served a one-game suspension for a flagrant two foul for kicking Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul in the face on Monday.
