Jaguars sign QB Stanzi to active roster

Quarterback Ricky Stanzi and guard Jacques McLendon were signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars off their practice squad, with wide receivers Jeremy Ebert and Tobais Palmer waived.

Stanzi was claimed off waivers from Kansas City on Aug. 27 and waived by the Jaguars on Sept. 28. The 2011 fifth-round pick has not played a regular-season snap in the NFL.

McClendon made the Jaguars' roster after being claimed on waivers from Atlanta on Sept. 1, but has been waived and re-signed on Monday each of the past three weeks. He has spent time with Indianapolis, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Atlanta. McClendon is a former fourth-round draft pick of the Colts in 2010.
