Angerer out six weeks with fractured foot
Colts linebacker Pat Angerer suffered a fractured foot in Sunday's preseason opener and is likely to be sidelined six weeks, coach Chuck Pagano said Monday.
Angerer left Lucas Oil Stadium in a walking boot on Sunday. He was the team's leading tackler in 2011.
The Colts will not replace Angerer immediately, but open his job to competition between Moise Fokou, Greg Lloyd -- both of whom were acquired from the Eagles earlier this month -- Jerrell Freeman and Mario Harvey.
The Colts continue to monitor the waiver wire and free agency, Pagano said.
