Alabama has four AP All-Americans
The University of Alabama dominated the Associated Press All-America team, in results released Tuesday.
The No. 2-ranked Crimson Tide placed four players on the first team, two on offense in center Barrett Jones and offensive guard Chance Warmack, and two on defense in linebacker C.J. Mosley and cornerback Dee Milliner.
No other team had more than one player chosen to the first team. The Tide had six total players selected for all three teams. Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Stanford and Florida each had four players on the three teams.
Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M, is the first freshman to make the first team at quarterback. He set an SEC record with 4,600 total yards to rank second in the nation.
For the Fighting Irish, only linebacker Manti Te'o made the first team.
