New Injustice 2 trailer confirms returning character Black Adam

Warner Bros. Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming fighting game, Injustice 2. Titled Shattered Alliances Part 3, the trailer features new moments from the story as well as revealing the character Black Adam.

Black Adam was a playable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us. The trailer doesn’t show much of his gameplay, but one scene that looks like his super move shows him punching Supergirl into a pyramid and yelling his trademark “SHAZAM!” to summon an explosive lightning bolt.

In Injustice: Gods Among Us most of Black Adam’s moves centered around the use of lightning. He sided with Superman in the conflict, which would explain why he wa shown fighting Supergirl in the trailer.

Injustice 2 is scheduled for release on May 16 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. For more details every other playable character confirmed so far, check out our gallery.
