Nevada flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct: french fries on the field
It could only happen in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Nevada in the final minute of its victory over Tulane on Tuesday.
The cause for the flag: french fries on the field. And some Gatorade.
The Wolf Pack were leading 38-20 when they decided to douse coach Jay Norvell with the traditional french-fry bath and followed with the drink to wash them down.

Cameron Carroll took advantage of the better field position and ran for a 65-yard score as time wound down.
So Nevada team dunks their coach with a bucket of French Fries at the end of Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and fries get on the field. The team gets a 15-yard penalty because of the fries on the field… #FrenchFries pic.twitter.com/T8k6zvO9AQ
