Let's face it: winter is coming. But if there's anything that can comfort us about shorter days and more time spent inside, it's the anticipation surrounding the release of season four of Netflix' "The Crown" on November 15.

The new season will introduce viewers to a new love interest of Prince Charles (played by Josh O'Connor): Lady Diana Spencer, played by Emma Corrin. And over the weekend, the network fueled even more excitement about the upcoming season with its release of the first photos of actor Emma Corrin, who plays Princess Diana, on the royal's wedding day in her iconic wedding dress.

In addition to her humanitarian work, dedication to her children, and graceful composure in nearly every setting, Diana was known for her unique style sensibility, which evolved from demure to confident over the course of her all-too-short life. And while she had certainly embraced a different look by the end of her life—think bolder colors, more streamlined silhouettes, and more daring jewelry moments—it's hard to imagine a more defining fashion moment for the young royal than that of her wedding day.

Although it features similar puffy sleeves and a v-shaped neckline, the gown donned by Corrin in season four of the "The Crown" is not an exact replica, according Netflix costume designer Amy Roberts who wanted to "capture the spirit" of the original Emmanuel gown.

Other first-look images released by Netflix include one of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, played by Gillian Anderson, outside of 10 Downing Street dressed in one of her signature power suits. Consider us hooked weeks ahead of the fourth season's release!
