Nebraska Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament History

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is right around the corner. Heading into the 2024 edition of the postseason, it appears as if the Nebraska Cornhuskers will be making their eighth trip to March Madness.

The Huskers are 0-7 all-time in the Tournament and are the only power conference school that has never won an NCAA Tournament game.

Nebraska has made postseason trips before, having appeared in the National Invitation Tournament nineteen times with a combined record of 24-18. They even won the tournament in 1996.

The Huskers last NCAA Tournament appearance was in 2014 when they lost to Baylor. Their first appearance was in 1986 when they lost to Western Kentucky in the Round of 64.
