NCAA Tournament booked? Twitter reacts to Rutgers basketball beating Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament

Rutgers basketball might just have done enough to book their ticket with a 62-50 win over Michigan in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. It was a huge win for the Scarlet Knights, who limped into the conference tournament but now have another signature win this season.

Losers of three of their last four games, Rutgers basketball was on the verge of being a bubble team for the NCAA Tournament but instead, they looked like a team that will definitely be in the field. Thursday’s win was impressive for Rutgers, given that the Scarlet Knights held Michigan to just four field goals in the second half.

Guard Cam Spencer finished the Michigan game with 18 points to lead all Rutgers scorers. Derek Simpson, making the start on Thursday, finished with 13 points and was outstanding on the defensive side of the ball.
