NC State football vs. Louisville: Live updates for Wolfpack's ACC home opener

NC State football welcomes Louisville to Carter-Finley Stadium for its ACC home opener on Friday (7 p.m., ESPN).

The Wolfpack (3-1, 1-0 ACC) is coming off a 24-21 win at Virginia in its league opener. The Cardinals (4-0, 2-0) secured a 56-28 win against Boston College in Week 4.

Louisville is 8-4 all-time against NC State, but the Wolfpack has won two of the last three at Carter-Finley Stadium. The Cardinals are 3.5-point favorites, according to BetMGM, but NC State has won its last seven league openers in Raleigh. Louisville, in 2015, was the last team to beat the Wolfpack in an ACC home opener.

NC State freshman KC Concepcion had six catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Wolfpack in its win at Virginia.

Prior to Friday's game, Hall of Fame coach Bill Cowher talked about being the latest member of the Wolfpack's Ring of Honor.
