NBA Twitter reacts to Trae Young, Hawks sending Sixers to another loss
The Philadelphia 76ers dropped another tough one on Thursday as they fell to Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks 104-95. The loss sends Philadelphia to a 5-7 record through these first 12 games of the season, but there are still 70 games to go on the season which offers up a ton of hope that the Sixers can turn things around.
With that being said, NBA Twitter is always going to have their reactions to things. This is what social media does as everybody gives their overreactions to what is going on in the sports world following every game in an 82-game season.
After Young and the Hawks sent the Sixers to another loss where Joel Embiid and the offense looked like they were trying to do everything by themselves and Tyrese Maxey struggled for the third consecutive game, NBA Twitter gave their best reactions. Fans and analysts alike had their thoughts after the loss.
It felt like the offense sunk every time Joel Embiid was off the floor the other night. Looking like more of the same tonight.

Tyrese Maxey's last three games: 15-54 from the field. He's 1-7 tonight and looks completely unsure of what to do unless he's passing in pick-and-roll to Joel Embiid.
Not impossible, but pretty hard for this team to win without James Harden when he's playing like this.

Joel Embiid is a +12 in a game the Sixers now trail by 14 points. Some really rough stuff at the end of the first and third quarters.

Joel Embiid is a +12.
The Sixers are down 14.

Tyrese Maxey looks like he doesn’t know what his role is which is a huge problem

Just… been an odd season for Joel Embiid
Doesn't look like himself, game looks painful, what has been graceful and smooth is now clunky and clumsy
Don't have a great explanation for why he didn't snag this bounce pass pic.twitter.com/hCjP2mRe1S
