NBA Twitter reacts to Sixers’ listless loss to Heat in home finale

The Philadelphia 76ers finished up the home portion of their schedule on Thursday with a 129-101 loss to the Miami Heat in what can be classified as a listless effort. There was an obvious reason for the listless effort as the Sixers have nothing to play for, but it is still not good enough for a team with title aspirations.

Jimmy Butler had 24 points and six assists and Tyler Herro had 24 points and five assists to lead Miami on the night. The Heat led the Sixers by as many as 33 and they were in a groove almost all night as they shot 55.7% from the floor and 18-for-39 from deep in the win as they can still earn the No. 6 seed.

For Philadelphia, Joel Embiid had 21 points on 9-for-13 shooting, James Harden had 14 points, and Tobias Harris had 11 points. Shake Milton added 11 points and 10 assists and Jalen McDaniels had 10 points off the bench.
