NBA Twitter reacts to the Lakers’ inspiring win over the Mavericks
Early in Sunday’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks, the Los Angeles Lakers looked off-kilter and headed for a lopsided loss.
They trailed by as many as 27 points in the second quarter and couldn’t hit a perimeter shot to save their lives.
But in the final moments of the half, L.A. started surging, and thanks to a huge third quarter in which it asserted itself in many ways, it became a game.
Down the stretch, the Lakers continued to outplay Luka Doncic and company, earning a 111-108 win the hard way.
