NBA MVP odds tracker: Nikola Jokić leads odds heading into final games of the season

As the NBA enters the last two weeks and with less than 10 games of the regular season left, the fight for the NBA MVP race continues.

Nikola Jokić is the current frontrunner for the award and has been for most of the season. As it stands, Jokić is paving the way to his third MVP title. For the Denver Nuggets, Jokić is averaging 26.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, and nine assists so far this season.

The Dallas Mavericks' Luka Dončić has jumped back as a top contender for the award. Doncic has averaged 34 points, 9.1 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game this season.

Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been a constant presence in the MVP conversation thanks to his impressive performance this season. The Thunder are currently leading the Western Conference, and Gilgeous-Alexander has been averaging an impressive 30.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. Gilgeous-Alexander is contributing significantly to the young Thunder team's unexpected success.

1. Nikola Jokić, C, Denver Nuggets (-700)

Jokić enters April as the favorite to win the MVP Award after leading the odds through the end of February and March. The two-time MVP winner is averaging 26.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, and nine assists per game.

Denver has officially clinched a playoff spot as a top seed after a 130-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jokić had 26 points, 18 rebounds and 16 assists as he recorded his 128th career triple-double, inching him closer to Magic Johnson's record.

2. Luka Dončić, PG, Dallas Mavericks (+550)

The Dallas Mavericks have won the last 11 out of 12 games and currently sit as the fifth seed in the Western Conference. It has given Luka Dončić that late push in the MVP conversation. Dončić has been impressive this season, averaging 34 points, 9.1 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game.

3. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder (+2000)

Atop of the Western Conference standings is the Oklahoma City Thunder, powered by top MVP race newcomer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Gilgeous-Alexander continued to perform well all season and has proven why he is one of the top point guards in the league. Gilgeous-Alexander has been averaging an impressive 30.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.

4. Jayson Tatum, F, Boston Celtics (+1000)

The Boston Celtics led the Eastern Conference with a 59-16 record and are the first team to clinch a postseason spot. The Celtics are the No. 1 seed and have won the Atlantic Division title. Tatum has averaged 27.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season for the Celtics.

5. Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF, Milwaukee Bucks (+1000)

The odds look slim for Giannis Antetokounmpo to win his third MVP award this season.

The Milwaukee Bucks are currently at the second spot in the Eastern Conference with a 47-27 record. Antetokounmpo has averaged 30.8 points, 11.5 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game this season. It is unsure if Antetokounmpo will play in the next game against the Wizards and is listed as a game time decision due to a left hamstring injury.
