NBA MVP odds: Phoenix Suns' Kevin Durant, Devin Booker in top 10

Who will win the NBA's MVP Award in 2024?

BetMGM Sportsbook has released updated odds for the regular season award coming out of the NBA's All-Star break and one team has two players in the top 10 in the odds.

The Phoenix Suns.

Kevin Durant comes in at +20000 in odds to win the award, ninth in the odds, while Devin Booker is tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards for 10th at +25000.

The site only gives odds for 14 players to win the award and the Suns are the only team with two players in the odds.

Durant is fifth in the NBA in scoring this season, averaging 28.2 points per game. He is shooting 53.8% from the field, while getting 6.6 rebounds per game and 5.7 assists per game.

USA TODAY Sports recently ranked Durant No. 7 in its NBA MVP rankings, with Jeff Zillgitt writing of Durant: "One of the all-time greats putting up MVP-caliber stats at 35 years old."

Booker is averaging 27.5 points per game, which is eighth in the NBA. He is seventh in assists, averaging seven per game, while also getting 4.6 rebounds per game. He is shooting 50% from the field.

USA TODAY Sports had Booker ranked No. 8 in its recent NBA MVP rankings, with Zillgitt writing of Booker: "Booker’s game is underrated and deserves to be part of this conversation."

Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander favorites in NBA MVP odds

Two players stand ahead of the rest in NBA MVP odds coming out of the NBA All-Star break.

The Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic is at -130 in the odds, while the Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is at +210.

The rest of the Top 5 includes the Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic (+900), the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo (+900) and the Boston Celtics' Jayson Tatum (+2500).

Interestingly, USA TODAY Sports has Gilgeous-Alexander No. 1 in its NBA MVP rankings, with Jokic second.

"A special season from Gilgeous-Alexander," Zillgitt wrote of the Thunder star. "Just three players have had a season where they averaged at least 30 points, six assists and five rebounds and shot at least 50% from the field."
