NBA Finals drip check: Nikola Jokic, Tyler Herro shine off the court

The most-coveted accessory in all of the NBA is not a Louis Vuitton belt or a pair of Louboutin sneakers, but the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

The Denver Nuggets were the team to capture the glorious gold arm candy on Monday when they beat the Miami Heat in five games in the NBA Finals. Yes, Larry always goes well with obtuse goggles and champagne spray.

But, even though neither the Nuggets nor the Heat are the glitziest teams in the league, there were plenty of good looks from throughout the series, including designer shirts and cozy matching sweatsuits. The stars came to shine.

Here’s the NBA Finals drip check:

5. Nikola Jokic — Game 3

NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic broke away from his usual jacket and pants look for a more Miami breezy vibe in Game 3. He wore a blue Gucci polo with the brand’s signature red and green stripe down the sleeves.

Bonus: Jokic also delivered with his colorful Game 4 look. For someone who hails from Serbia and lives in Denver, he knows how to style for South Beach.

4. Michael Porter Jr. — Game 2

Michael Porter Jr. has become more of a role player after he underwent three back surgeries in five years. But don’t let his lack of star power on the court mislead you that he’s not still a baller. For Game 2, the former No. 1 recruit wore an all purple outfit that was a custom look from Nahmias, a preview of their upcoming fall collection. The look was expertly styled by AZSN Studio with a black undershirt and sneakers to let the purple pop.

3. Tyler Herro — Game 5

Tyler Herro made his grand return in Game 5 looking like a boss. He stuck with team colors, but made it casual and cool with a Bass Pro Shops jacket, cargo khaki pants, white Air Force 1s and a backwards snapback. It said, "Did you miss me?" He didn't end up playing, but yes, we missed his effortless style.

2. Gabe Vincent — Game 3

Gabe Vincent showed how to be comfy and stylish for Game 3 in this head to toe outfit from Canadian sportswear brand Twenty. It’s an interesting gray swirl print and sweat shorts are a sure fire way to make a strong statement.

He also looked spiffy in his Game 2 outfit (see seventh slide) where he matched a green coach jacket with a pair of Vans Old Skool sneakers.

1. Jeff Green — Game 4

While the fashion competition might be strongest among the young stars, Uncle Jeff Green showed up to Game 4 showing that the vets know how to do it too. Styled by Brand Williams, he wore a white T-shirt from Rhude paired with smart purple trousers. The best part was the subtle accessories that helped the graphic design of the T-shirt pop − blue socks and a glitzy blue chain. We stan.
