Indiana Pacers trade No. 7 pick in 2023 NBA Draft
The Indiana Pacers picked Bilal Coulibaly, a teammate of No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama in France, at No. 7 overall. However, according to multiple reports, they traded Coulibaly's rights to the Washington Wizards for the No. 8 pick and more.
The Pacers end up with Jarace Walker, who just completed his freshman season at Houston. The Pacers also reportedly receive two second-round picks in 2028, one directly from the Wizards and another Washington recently obtained in a trade with the Phoenix Suns.
The 6-8 Walker averaged 11.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 1.3 blocked shots in one season with the Cougars. He was the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and an all-conference second-team pick.

Pacers select Ben Sheppard at No. 26
Ben Sheppard played four seasons for Belmont, averaging 18.8 points on 41.5% 3-point shooting as a senior. The 6-6 wing also averaged 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals.
"I feel like I've flown under the radar for most of my life in basketball, honestly, and that was just a chip on my shoulder," Sheppard said following his workout with the Pacers a couple of weeks ago.
Pacers select Mojave King in the second round
Mojave King, a 6-5 wing from G League Ignite, was taken with the 47th pick, which came from the Los Angeles Lakers. King averaged 8.1 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.
Pacers select Isaiah Wong in the second round
Isaiah Wong, a four-year player at Miami, goes No. 55 to the Pacers. Wong averaged 16.2 points and hit 38.4% of his 3-pointers last season, and he scored 27 points as the Hurricanes eliminated IU on the way to a Final Four berth. (For further insult, IU's Trayce Jackson-Davis was available at that spot.)
