Is NASCAR on today? The Daytona 500 wait is nearly over! | Speedweek schedule

The Super Bowl is on Sunday. The Super Bowl of stock car racing is right around the corner.

In fact, this is the last weekend without NASCAR!

Qualifying for the 66th running of the Daytona 500 will begin at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Daytona International Speedway and will air of FS1, signifying the on-track beginning of Speedweek. The BlueGreen Vacation Duel will set positions 3-40 in the field on Thursday with a pair of 150-mile races beginning at 7 p.m.

After that? Well, a Craftsman Truck Series race on Friday, the opening of the ARCA Menards Series season followed by the Xfinity Series opener in a doubleheader on Saturday and then, at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the green flag drops on the Cup Series season.
