The mystery of the Phillies fans on the Citizen Bank Park roof may have a very dull explanation

The Philadelphia Phillies, led by Bryce Harper, defeated the Atlanta Braves 3-1 in the National League Division Series for the second year in a row. Phillies fans are determined to witness every moment of the home games and secure the best seats at Citizen Bank Park.

During Game 3 of the Braves vs. Phillies series, two people were spotted on the roof of Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday night when the Phillies won and took a 2-1 lead of the series against the Braves.

Spectators have been spotted on the roof of Citizen Bank Park before. Bleacher Report shared a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, of four people wearing red hoodies on the roof during a postseason game on November 3, 2022.

It is unclear whether the individuals spotted on the roof are fans or employees, with theories suggesting that they may be part of the stadium's firework crew. It would make sense that maintenance crew members would want to enjoy the game from the best possible seat. USA Today has attempted to contact the Phillies organization for a statement, but they have yet to respond.

The Philadelphia Phillies will face the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Championship Series. Fans can rely on a packed crowd at Citizen Bank Park, with the exception of roof seating.
