Section II LAKE GEORGE (21-11-3): Evelyn Burke eight kills, one block, two aces, 10 assists, eight digs; Angelina Minnear 10 kills, three digs; Shannon Briggs 21 assists, three kills, one block, one ace, six digs; Emily Guidetti five kills, one block, four aces, three digs; Amelia Gates six kills, three digs; Josie Duers 26 digs; Grace Barber two aces, 12 digs; Rebecca Pape one block, one dig; Anna Richichi five digs.

NEXT UP: Lake George plays close to home in the state's fall Final Four Nov. 18 and 19 at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls. The other semifinalists are Section IV Candor, Section VI Chautauqua Lake and Section IX Tuxedo. Lake George was the 2001 Class D champion, and Candor won in 2002, 2003 and 2019. The Mount Academy from Section IX had won the last two state championships and moved up to Class C this fall.

NEXT UP: Hamilton plays a regional final Saturday afternoon at Section II Lake George. The winner advances to Final Four play in Glens Falls' Cool Insuring Arena Nov. 18 and 19. Class B Westhill, a 3-0 winner over Ogdensburg Free Academy Wednesday, will play the following match at Lake George Saturday against Broadalbin-Perth.Class C LaFayette plays its regional at Fayetteville-Manlius, and Class A Jamesville-DeWitt, Class AA West Genesee and Class AAA Baldwinsville all play their matches at Gloversville.
