MJ subject to goat noises among Italian fans

When the topic of “greatest basketball player in the world” comes up, it’s usually a debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan.

James has one advantage MJ didn’t – he played right out of high school, allowing him to gain a few extra seasons of NBA experience.

There’s a couple things Michael Jordan has, however, that separates him in the GOAT conversation – a national championship in college (1982), plus a perfect 6/6 in NBA Finals trips with the Chicago Bulls. MJ also spent a season playing minor league baseball for the Birmingham Barons, yet still chose to come back, further solidfying his place as GOAT.

Speaking of goats, MJ was actually subject to some “goat talk” while vacationing in Italy:

There’s no doubt this is likely one of the more odd off-court encounters MJ has experienced. Like a pro, though, he just minds his own business and keeps walking.

When fans spot someone as high-profile as MJ in public, it’s difficult not to try and grab his attention.

MJ has a lot more free time on his hands, now that he’s no longer owner of the Charlotte Hornets. As good of a player MJ was, his ownership tenure didn’t really pan out, as the Hornets only won three playoff games under his watch.
