Mississippi State basketball transfer portal tracker: Who's in, who's out for Chris Jans

STARKVILLE — Even before the jubilation of returning to March Madness and the heartbreak of an early exit, coach Chris Jans admitted Mississippi State basketball never turned off recruiting mode. Between the high school scene and the transfer portal opening before the NCAA Tournament started, Jans and his staff couldn't wait.

It paid off on March 13 when the Bulldogs got a commitment from guard Josh Hubbard − Mississippi's top prospect. Hubbard had previously signed with Ole Miss, but after coach Kermit Davis' firing, he was released from his National Letter of Intent.

That was only the start of what's sure to be a busy spring for MSU. The Bulldogs lost guard Eric Reed Jr. and forward Tyler Stevenson to exhausted eligibility. There are also players departing for or coming in from the transfer portal. Keep up with all of Mississippi State's portal movement below.
