The Milwaukee Bucks' Las Vegas summer league roster is set. Yes, that's the same Jabari Parker.

Adrian Griffin will make his head-coaching debut with the Milwaukee Bucks at the NBA summer league in Las Vegas, and he will have several familiar faces on his roster, which was announced Friday.

The most surprising name is Jabari Parker, the 28-year-old who was the Bucks’ pick at No. 2 in the 2014 draft. Parker played in 183 regular-season games with Milwaukee from 2014-18 but never delivered on the promise of his high selection due to twice tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Parker has bounced around the league since signing with the Chicago Bulls in 2018, also playing with the Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics. He was waived by the Celtics in January 2022, so Parker will be trying to prove in the summer league that he is worthy of another chance.

Sons of former Bucks players – and head coach – on roster

Griffin will also be coaching one of his sons.

The 23-year-old Alan Griffin, who played at Syracuse and Illinois, will get a chance to play for the Bucks in Las Vegas after stints in the NBA G League and the Canadian Elite Basketball League over the past two years. Alan's younger brother, A.J., is coming off his rookie season with the Atlanta Hawks.

The father-son connections don't stop there.

Vin Baker Jr. will be on the summer-league roster as well, with his father assisting Griffin on the sideline after being retained on the coaching staff. Baker Jr. just finished two seasons at UW-Milwaukee.

Nico Mannion, whose dad Pace played 35 games with the Bucks in the 1987-88 season, is on the roster in an interesting case. His rights are still owned by the Golden State Warriors, who drafted Mannion at No. 48 in 2020 and just recently extended him a qualifying offer for a two-way contract. Mannion was a prized high-school recruit who was heavily pursued by Marquette before he chose to play at Arizona for one season.

Rookies Andre Jackson and Chris Livingston will join MarJon Beauchamp and others with NBA experience

The Bucks will also be able to see in Las Vegas what they have in Andre Jackson and Chris Livingston, the 6-foot-6 athletic wing players they selected in the second round of the NBA draft.

They will be joined by 6-6 former San Jose State guard Omari Moore, who the Bucks signed on a two-way deal after the draft, and Jazian Gortman, another undrafted rookie free agent.

MarJon Beauchamp, the Bucks' rookie last season who averaged 5.1 points in 52 games, returns for his second stint on the summer-league team. So will Hugo Besson, the French guard who the Bucks chose with the last pick in the 2022 draft. Besson played in France last season alongside the San Antonio Spurs' No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama.

A.J. Green and Lindell Wigginton are also players with experience with the Bucks who will be on the summer-league roster.

Tacko Fall and Drew Timme are interesting additions

Word had already leaked out that Gonzaga's Drew Timme had signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Bucks and would be on the team in Las Vegas. An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year minimum-salary deal that can be converted to a two-way contract before the start of the regular season.

But another cult favorite player will also wear a Bucks uniform: 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall. He first garnered notice as a shot-blocker at Central Florida before having stints with the Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Paris Bass, Tyler Bey, Tyler Cook, Aliou Diarra, Iverson Molinar and Anthony Tarke round out the roster.

Griffin will have his entire coaching staff with him. The assistants, who were announced earlier this week, include Baker, two former Bucks head coaches and the first female assistant in franchise history.
