Millersport’s Levacy headed to Ohio Christian to play baseball

MILLERSPORT – After an outstanding high school career, where he got it done on the mound and at the plate, Millersport’s Michael Levacy has committed to play at the next level and has signed to play at Ohio Christian University.

Levacy, also a standout in basketball as a four-year starter, had a tremendous four-year career on the baseball field and holds several school records.

As a pitcher, he finished his career with a 13-6 record with a 1.77 earned run average and had 200 career strikeouts. He holds the school record for the lowest ERA in a season (0.13 in 2022) and the lowest ERA for a career (1.77).

At the plate this past season, Levacy had a robust .547 batting average, which is a school record, and for his career, he had a .400 batting average, had 60 career runs batted in, and scored 73 runs.

Ohio Christian University has announced that it will be transitioning from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I.

The Trailblazers will continue to compete in the NAIA and River States Conference (RSC) in the 2023-24 school year before shifting entirely to NCCAA Division I, beginning in Fall 2024.
