Miller’s Martial Arts hosting traditional martial arts tournament
Team MMA, located in Windber, will play host to its 12th annual traditional martial arts tournament Saturday at Windber Area High School.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the competition will start at 11 a.m.
Martial artists of all ages and ranks will compete in weapons, forms and sparring. There will be four grand champions crowned at the invitational.
The tournament attendees come from all over Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. The top three in each division receive an Olympic-style medal and competitors 12 and younger receive a special championship dog tag. Food, beverages and merchandise will be available.
Children 5 and younger will be admitted free of charge.
