Mike Evans rewrites the record books in Tampa Bay as he eclipses 11,000 career receiving yards

If you were going to slap a photo of a football player in the dictionary next to word consistency, you could make a strong case for Mike Evans.

Last Sunday the Former Aggie wide receiver crossed a major milestone when he reached 11,000 career yards in the game against the Houston Texans. At 30 years old he still has a few years left in the tank to continue to add to his resume. It’s obvious that he has Hall-of-Fame numbers with still half a season to go in his tenth year. You can see his career stats below through Nov. 5, 2023.

  • Rec – 720

  • Yards/Avg – 11,019 / 15.3

  • Touchdowns – 86

  • 2014 All-Rookie Team

  • 2016 AP – 2nd team All-Pro

  • 4-time pro-bowler

  • Super Bowl Champion

For more context, Evans is also the first player in NFL history to start a career with nine-straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons and now is the first Tampa Bay Buccaneer to reach that mark in team history.

We want to congratulate Evans on reaching this achievement and having such a long and productive career. Gig’em.
