Michigan State football's defensive line remains thin vs. Maryland's healthy passing game

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Michigan State football’s defensive line continues to be thin. Maryland’s passing attack appears to be at full strength.

Defensive end Khris Bogle joins the list of Spartans who are out and did not make the trip to face the Terrapins in Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. kickoff (FS1).

Bogle and Jeff Petrowski, two of the top three defensive ends, are not in uniform.

Defensive tackle Jacob Slade is not in uniform for the third straight game with a right leg injury. The Spartans do have fellow starter Simeon Barrow back after the defensive tackle left the Minnesota loss in the third with an apparent left leg injury. Maverick Hansen also is in uniform after getting hurt but returning late against the Gophers.

Others who are out for the Spartans include safety Tate Hallock, cornerback Marqui Lowery and cornerback Caleb Coley.

Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa and top wide receiver Rakim Jarrett both are in uniform and went through pregame warmups. Both got hurt last week in the Terrapins’ loss at Michigan.
