MIAA volleyball brackets: Who are MetroWest and Milford area teams facing?

Be the first to three, or your season's over. The MIAA released its girls volleyball state tournament brackets Wednesday.

Three defending state champions earned No. 1 overall seeds: Newton North (D1), Westborough (D2) and Ipswich (D4).

Preliminary round matches will begin Wednesday, while Round of 32 matches will take place from Wednesday through Saturday.

No. 23 Wachusett (10-10) at No. 10 Franklin (16-2), 5 p.m. 11/2
