1. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) ARGENTINA MANAGER, LIONEL SCALONI, SAYING:

"Regarding who is going to play with Messi (in future), I will say we're going to play as a team. It's not important if we play with one, two, or three strikers or with how many players alongside him (Messi). We need to start talking about the team. And our idea beyond one game or another is to be the main character of the match and when the rivals make things difficult for us, we must minimise their quality and attack them. So in my way of understanding football, it doesn't matter if we play with one, two or three strikers. So, I can't answer your question about how many players we are going to use (alongside Messi), because in one way or the other we are going to be offensive."

3. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) URUGUAY MANAGER, OSCAR TABAREZ, SAYING:

"FIFA dates have always been really important for us and the meaning of these games is higher when we play against powerful teams with historical football like Argentina. And with an important presence. And well, we tried to play fighting against the strengths of Argentina. I think we could do that through lapses of the game. We fought for it. I think the result was really tight considering what the two teams played for. Was nothing weird (the result)."

STORY: Argentina superstar Lionel Messi scored a late penalty as Argentina salvaged a 2-2 draw in an international friendly against Uruguay in Tel Aviv, Israel on Monday (November 18).

Afterwards Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni said that he had not decided who would regularly partner with Messi up front in the future, but that whatever team he puts out, it would play offensively.

Meanwhile, legendary Uruguay boss Oscar Tabarez said that FIFA friendly dates were always important to them, especially when playing against such a high-class rival.
