The last star-powered pieces to the Memorial Tournament field puzzle fit into place Friday when the June 6-9 event at Muirfield Village Golf Club welcomed three-time major championship winner Jordan Spieth and rookie talent Ludvig Aberg.

The field is set except for the exemptions and the "Swing Five" who can still qualify by finishing well at this week's Canadian Open. The five spots will be filled on Monday by the top five FedEx Cup points earners from this weekend's play in Canada who are not already qualified for the Memorial. The five exemptions include four via sponsor and the Division I winner of the Nicklaus Award, given to the players of the year in college golf. Nicklaus will announce the winner Tuesday.

The field, which is expected to total 73 or 74 players, also received Friday commitments from Tom Kim and Sam Burns.

The commitments to date are:

Scottie Scheffler, defending Masters champion and No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings who has won four times already this season and twice tied for runner-up;

Xander Schauffele, winner 2024 PGA Championship (2 in OWGR)
