Meet The Ledger's 2023 All-County Boys Lacrosse Team
PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Yohance Love
All Saints, Senior
Midfielder
Love this year racked up 53 goals, 56 ground balls, 10 assists, 63 points and won 58% of his faceoffs en route to helping All Saints go to the district finals. Four of the five categories he improved in. But more importantly, Love was a utility player for All Saints, playing man-up, man-down, offense and defense. He also took faceoffs and excelled in it. Overall, he is an exceptional leader, student and person.
COACH OF THE YEAR

Lake Wales
Day guided the Highlanders to a 13-5 record and advanced to the district finals for the first times. Other firsts are beating All Saints and having the best record in school history. Under Day, the program also accomplished the most goals, assists, best saving percentage by a goalie and was ranked No. 1 nationally for ground balls. Lake Wales also had the most players make all-conference.
