Here is a look at the Greater Lansing high school boys cross country Dream Team and all-area selections. This team reflects individuals from Michigan High School Athletic Association member schools.

RUNNER OF THE YEAR

School: Pewamo-Westphalia

Year: Senior

Season-best time: 15:29.3

The Oakland University commit ended his career as the Division 3 individual state champion. Farmer also was the champion at the Greater Lansing Championships and the regional meet.

DREAM TEAM

Ezekiel Baltierra

School: Alma

Year: Freshman

Season-best time: 15:39

Baltierra capped his debut season by finishing 24th at the Division 2 state finals to earn all-state honors. He was fifth at the Greater Lansing Championships and fourth at the regional.

Nate Carmody

Season-best time: 15:27

Carmody placed 37th at the Division 2 state finals to end his career. He was the champion at the regional and took 11th at the Greater Lansing Championships.

Theodore Davis

Season-best time: 16:01.4

Davis earned Division 3 all-state honors and was ninth at the MHSAA finals. He was the champion at the regional.

Alex Doneth

Doneth placed 32nd at the Division 2 state finals and recorded fourth-place finishes at the Greater Lansing Championships and regional.

Thomas Larson

Larson ended his season by taking 42nd at the Division 2 state finals. He was the runner-up at the Greater Lansing Championships and third at the regional.

Dylan Lydic

Lydic concluded his season by placing 40th at the Division 2 state finals. He was sixth at the Greater Lansing Championships and third at the regional.

Staib earned all-state honors in Division 2 by placing 23rd at the state finals. He finished eighth at the Greater Lansing Championships and fifth at the regional.
